Evan Doran

In the world of electronic and dance DJ’s it is rare to find a DJ with turntablism at the core of their existance. At the young age of 21 Evan Doran already has ten solid years of DJing experience, starting off as a local party DJ transorming into a hip hop and competition turntablist and then evolving into one of the brightest young electro/dance/funk DJ’s in the tri state area. Evan Doran has done everything from shocking audiences during live sets with his cutting and blending ability to bending the rules with song selection on FM radio. It is not often that you find many disc jockeys in the “Serato age” this young that still understand the importance of mixing scratching and blending as opposed to practically just playing songs. Evan Doran is currently in the works of an EP titled YARCH! set to be released this summer on vinyl and digital stores such as iTunes, Amie Street, and Bandcamp, and he has recently began to embark on a country wide city tour in order to solidify his reputation and keep quality music in rotation as well as introduce the world to his own music. Currently on indie label Doplar Music Inc. Evan Doran embarks on a journey that is guided by the wisdom of past DJ’s and turntablists, along with the innovation and creativity of an artist absorbed in  today’s digital world.
